Backwoods Thunder

 
 From the Backwoods of West Michigan, comes Backwoods Thunder with a hard rockin’ country sound seldom heard in Michigan. Opening for National acts and playing at local establishments throughout Michigan, Backwoods Thunder has brought with them sold out crowds, record bar sales, and a loyal, high energy fan base.

 Each member brings his own individual personality to the stage.

 Lead vocalist Blair Kay’s commanding stage presence pulls audiences outta their seats and on their feet! Keeping them there until the final chord (or 'till the cows come home, whichever comes first) making everyone feel like they are all part of the “Backwoods Family!”

 Whoever said, “Country boys can’t rock and roll”, never met guitarist Morgan Smith. Morgan comes from a strong hard rock background that gives Backwoods its distinct sound. With “Mo Dogg” bending them strings, country music will never be the same.

 Don’t let the spiked hair fool ya, from the ashes of a former rock and roller a country boy is born. Bassist Chad Flores can’t stand still, and won’t let the crowd either! When it comes time to put on a show that’s just what he does…all night long.

 One look at drummer Jeff Toliver and you see what being in a band is all about. Jeff is the glue that holds it all together. Even though he hides behind a drum kit, you know he’s there….and if you have any loose fillings in your teeth, you’ll really know!

 Backwoods Thunder was built to entertain and leaves audiences wanting more when the shows over. “When people come to see us we want them to come in as spectators and leave as fans!”
